Aguisitions ("we," "us," "our") operates the marketplace at aguisitions.com that connects buyers and sellers of agricultural real estate. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

From buyers (anonymous browsing)

Saved searches / saved listings: when you save a search or favorite a listing, we store the email address you provide plus the filter criteria or listing IDs. We use this only to send alerts you opted into.
Lead inquiries: when you submit the contact form on a listing, we store your name, email, phone (if provided), and message. This is shared with the listing broker.
Analytics: we count page views per listing to give brokers basic engagement data. We do not run third-party ad-tracking pixels.

From brokers (account holders)

Identity: name, email, password (hashed), brokerage, license number and state, phone, bio, photo.
Property data: the listings you publish, including images uploaded to our hosted storage.
Lead activity: contact-form submissions and inquiry status (new, contacted, qualified, closed).

2. How we use your information

Operate the marketplace (display listings, deliver email alerts you signed up for, deliver lead submissions to brokers).
Authenticate your account and protect it from unauthorized access.
Email you transactional notifications (confirmation, password reset, alert digests, contact inquiries).
Improve the platform — count anonymous page views, monitor errors, debug.

3. Who we share with

We don't sell your data. We share only with service providers that operate the platform:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (Postgres + Auth + Object Storage).
Resend — transactional email delivery for alerts, confirmations, and contact replies.
Mapbox — interactive map tiles and address geocoding.
Vercel — application hosting (when deployed).

When a buyer submits a lead on a listing, that lead's name, email, phone, and message are shared with the broker representing that listing. By submitting, the buyer consents to this.

4. Your rights and choices

Unsubscribe from alerts: every email digest includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@aguisitions.com to remove all saved searches or saved listings tied to your address.
Account deletion: brokers can request deletion of their account and all associated listings by emailing hello@aguisitions.com.
Data access: you may request a copy of the data we hold on you by emailing the same address.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies strictly required for authentication (so brokers stay logged in). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Buyer-side "saved" state is stored in localStorage on your device for cross-page convenience.

6. Data retention

We retain account and listing data for as long as the account is active. Saved searches persist until unsubscribed. Lead submissions are retained for as long as the listing exists plus 12 months.

7. Children

Aguisitions is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll post material changes here and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept it.
